About Me

My Background

I've always had an interest in food from a young age. I studied food technology at school but I went on to become a paediatric nurse. It was during my training that I started baking cakes and this continued into my nursing career. My colleagues would always get excited when they saw me with a cake box!

So last year I took the leap and set up Hannah's Bakes. You might say it was not the best time during a national lockdown but it was a time I could see what I loved doing and make a dream reality. I still love nursing but cake is my passion. I love making your visions into cake, for me its more than just a cake its a memory.
